20:00-21:30 gmT || LIVE ONLINE

Join our brand-new class: How to Coach Young Children (3-6 year-old’s)

As part of our new ‘How to’ series of Live Online Classes, we’ll explore how to use coaching skills with this group of students in the following empowering ways:

1.   Shorter and Structured Sessions and Language

Young children have very short attention spans so keep your language simple and shorten your conversations to hold their attention. The more transparent you are about the process, intention and where you are going, the more enrolled they will be.

2.   Play-Based Coaching and Props

Using games, toys, role-playing, and imaginative play during a coaching conversation will lead to more exploration and creativity. They won’t learn if they are bored or disengaged, make it fun!

3.   The Skill of Repetition

Repetition and reinforcement will enhance your students learning and memory retention. Revisit important concepts, skills, and strategies in multiple conversations to reinforce understanding and skill development.

4.   Involve their Caregiver(s)

You don’t need to do this alone! Share strategies, progress and suggestions for what support could look like at home. When children see consistency from the adults around them and learn what to expect, children thrive.

Please note, these classes will be recorded and shared with attendees.
